Thursday, May 21st - A Day
Ms. McAlpin’s book recommendation is described as action packed, easy to read because of the short chapters but each chapter ends with a cliffhanger that keeps you wanting to read more and more. Readers have compared this book to the greatness of Harry Potter and Percy Jackson.
Reminder to all 7th graders interested in playing football next year, today during advisory, there will be an informational meeting. Mr. Black will make an announcement at lunch as a reminder and let everyone know where we will meet. This is NOT a mandatory meeting so If you are unable to attend the meeting for any reason, that’s ok.

Tuesday, May 19th - A Day
The book Ms. McAlpin recommends is about 6 teenagers that are not 100% human. They are not ordinary kids, they have wings and can fly. The main character knows what it is like to soar above the world but unfortunately with the ups, there are also nightmarish downs.
Attention all 7th graders interested in playing football next year, there will be an informational meeting this Thursday during advisory. Mr. Black will make an announcement at lunch that day to remind everyone.
Congrats to the HMS Outdoor Club on their success fishing at the Cottage Grove Ravine yesterday.
